The dog was wandering in the forest and suddenly saw a bonfire, and a man was next to it. The dog was very cold, she really wanted to get closer to the hot flame of the campfire, but she didn't dare. Meanwhile, the Man really wanted to eat, but he had to get up and go to the forest to hunt, but it was already dark, and she did not dare ... At this time a Dog came out of the bushes, it had wild teeth. The dog approached slowly and placed the prey at the man's feet. In gratitude, the man called the dog to the bonfire. Then they shared a late dinner for two and sat down to gaze at the stars. Then she withdrew silently into the shadows and unnoticed followed the departing man, never taking her gaze from his dark, wet eyes from the pain in her unkempt, indifferent back. And he finds many things, but nothing can revive the light in his eyes, and therefore inside him it is cold and dark.

And dogs live and die in anticipation of a miracle. They believe that one day man will remember and shout:

– I need your love and loyalty again, only they can save me from loneliness and revive a broken heart. And I will take care of you again as I promised you then. Come back, friend!

And then the dog will smile and say: – I have no reason to come back, I’ve always been by your side, man!
